Not-So-Wordless Wednesday

I was featured in a treasury! Check it out! Etsy Treasury: Autumn Kids

They featured my Personalized Pumpkin top...

These are selling like little pumpkin hotcakes this season! I'm having fun stitching out lots of pumpkins for little punkin's to wear for the fall! :)

Friday Favorites...on Tuesday!

My husband and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary about 2 weeks ago. I had such a hard time deciding what to get him! Men have it so much easier - they can buy perfumes, jewelry, flowers, and a fancy card, and they've knocked it out of the park. We women, on the other hand, have to work hard to give our husbands gifts that really leave an impression. I found a great one this year!

I ordered these beautiful blocks from a fellow Etsy seller, Innervision. Not only did she go out of her way to work with me on a very limited timeline, but the blocks are amazing!! I was able to email her almost 40 images of my daughter to use, and got to pick my own wording (if I wanted any). My husband loved it! Now, he loves moving the blocks around and seeing if I notice. :)

Happy Harvest!

I had fun last week making this adorable shirt (front and back) for a frequent customer of mine. It turned out so fun and festive that I listed it as two separate shirt options on Etsy and on my newly updated website, FreckledPink.com.

Isn't this fun??

Happy Autumn, everyone!

Now, I'm off (for the 4th week running) to call the insurance company about our little totaled car...wish me luck!

New Shop...New Look

Images Edited and Updated!!!

As I may have mentioned, I got accepted to the new online marketplace, LolliShops, recently! I'm so very excited about it, and can't wait for the site to debut later this year!

After much encouragement from the LolliShops Blog, I decided to give Freckled Pink a makeover.

I only tried about 20 different designs before coming up with this delightful, feminine, pink and yellow combo. I'd love to hear everyone's feedback!

I'm thinking of making the background dots a little brighter, but they might just be showing up lightly because I'm on my MacBook, not using my external monitor right now.

Anywho... let me know what you think! Thanks!

I Went Shopping on Etsy!

Isn't that beautiful?? It comes out much clearer on Off Woodland Lane's Etsy shop photos. I'm so excited, because I've wanted to order one of these gorgeous custom signs since I found them on Etsy last fall, and today I decided to just go for it. You can choose your font and colors, and I can't wait to see how mine turns out!!

Today is my wonderful husband's birthday, so I'd better get back to celebrating! Happy weekend, everyone!

The Highest Compliment

Sometimes, people on Etsy say that they don't want to be favorited by sellers who make similar crafts to their own. I, on the other hand, take it as the highest possible compliment! After all, it means more coming from someone who is actually able to appreciate the work that goes into your art!

These hand towels from SewJoSpecial are so beautiful! I love the colors, the font, and the way they coordinate.

Just wanted to share! Have a happy Monday, everyone!

Thursday Thirteen

Today, a list of 13 goals for my business in 2008:

  1. Make it to 100 Hearts on Etsy.
  2. Learn to use my new (coming in 3 weeks-ish) DSLR, and take better pictures of all of my items to post both on my website and on Etsy.
  3. List at least 2 items every week.
  4. Introduce at least one unique and new item per quarter.
  5. Watch the Etsy Treasury list long enough to actually get to make one!
  6. Streamline my packaging process.
  7. Keep immaculate records for 2008 for ALL sales!
  8. Keep up with all expenditures and receipts!
  9. Try to keep my crafting room clean and organized.
  10. Purchase more organization supplies:
    1. Shelving for 12 x 12 papers
  11. Purchase or build a photo light tent to contribute to taking better item photos.
  12. Purchase one of the (hopefully) new Etsy print advertisements in a magazine.
  13. Build positive relationships with my customers and fellow crafters!
