Once the wedding was over, it was time for everyone to head over {I'm the world's worst at directions, so I'll just say "over", because I'm really not sure if it was "up" or "down"} to the Boston, Mass area. Since downtown Boston was on our route to Adam's uncle's house, we spent a good part of our day there.
Probably my favorite part of Boston. One of the locals told us they refer to these flowers as "Horton Hears a Who" flowers. So gorgeous! |
Allie saying hello to the ducky statues at the 'Make Way for Ducklings' area in Boston Commons Park. {We don't have the book yet, but we are planning to order it on Amazon soon!} |
I wanted a family picture {with our little hollywood star} with the flowers. |
At the Quincy Market. Crazy busy, but really fun place to eat and shop! {If you can't tell by the chocolate on Allie's face, we'd just finished a big bowl of ice cream!} |
My baby - who hates nap time - fell asleep in her stroller in the crazy outdoor marketplace. Who'd have thought...? |
Little Allie near Second Beach in Rhode Island. |
Adam, Allie, & Adam's Grandma Rieger. Love making memories with Allie's great-grandparents. |
...sigh... We have one beautiful baby! |
We visited a couple of 18th century mansions on the coast. The regal atmosphere obviously didn't affect my daughter's desire to pick this lion's nose... |
