Cooling Off

So, today is, I believe, our 15th day in a row of 100+ temperatures here. It. Is. HOT. Hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. Hot enough that by the time I get Allie buckled into her car seat, I'm already sweating. Hot enough that we leave a bowl of ice out back for our dogs every day. {And hot enough that it makes me pray even more that God is going to provide us a house with a pool when we move in the next few months!}

To keep cool, we've been staying inside. The only thing that can lure us out is water...

Adam decided to wash his truck the other day, so we pulled the kiddie pool
into the front yard and cooled off  - old school.
