Busy, Busy!

The past couple of weeks have been so busy! Fewf! We are ready for things to s.l.o.w. down so that we can catch our breaths. Here's a glimpse into the past couple of weeks...(in backwards order, because of how Blogger uploads pictures. Anyone have any tips or easier ways to post pictures in blogger?)

Miss Allie is finally learning to sit in her Bumbo seat! It still swallows her, but she's getting there. She loves to have her toys in the seat with her, so she can try to grab at them and put them in her mouth.

I've finally found a "tummy time" trick: Prop Allie up on the boppy pillow, and she doesn't scream the entire time she's on her tummy!

Allie was dedicated in church on Sunday, April 11th.

She dressed up in a fancy pink dress, pink bow, ruffled socks, and even pink peep-toe shoes.

This is Allie after our crazy Easter day. Poor baby, she was so tired.

All dressed up in her Easter best!

Her first "Easter Basket". It's really more of an "Easter Bucket", but I don't think she cared.

Adam's grandma finally got to meet Allie. This is a picture of 4 generations!

We took Allie, along with some friends, on her first real trip to the zoo! We made it through 3 hours, and hardly moved the rest of the day because we were so exhausted. I'm excited to take her back soon, though! We got a zoo membership this year, so it will be fun to see how she starts to enjoy it more and more the older she gets.

We also took Allie to her first birthday party for her sweet friend Eisley who turned 1. It was so fun! Another "first" was Allie's first trip to Joe T. Garcia's, our favorite restaurant. We've been keeping this kid busy!

Hopefully these next weeks won't be quite as busy, and our little family can enjoy some down-time with one another.

Tori, she is such a doll! I know I say that all the time, but she really is. She looks so cute in her bumbo, fun!
