About Me
When I was probably 2 years old, my sweet Memaw kept me every day while my mom reluctantly went to work. Memaw would sit me in a high-chair in her living room with paints, colors, and books, while she began her home-based business of teaching young girls how to sew. I watched as they learned embroidery stitches, made garments, and crafted all kinds of dolls and toys out of beautiful fabrics. As soon as I was old enough, {age 3}, I joined in on the lessons, too. I continued my sewing lessons until I graduated high school, became an apprentice teacher, and eventually co-taught lessons alongside my creative, feisty, 80-something-year-old Memaw, who is still teaching today.
During college, I was able to begin a sewing business of my own, Freckled Pink Custom Monogramming. I love creating fun, personalized gifts for babies, and am now excited about expanding my products into wedding gifts and home decor items, too!
I am so blessed to get to work from home, where I spend my days with my precious daughter, Allie Joy. All of my life, I've wanted nothing more than to be a homemaker and a mama, and this little business allows me to do just that - to fulfill the calling God has placed on my life as a wife, mother, and friend during this season of life.
This year, we are awaiting the arrival of our 2nd baby, a little boy, Wyatt, in April. I can't wait!
